Most apps make you hand over your bank credentials at step one. Arden starts with a file. Drop in a statement from Chase, Capital One, Navy Federal, or your local credit union — Arden detects the columns, normalizes the dates, and learns your categorization the first time you tag a payee.
Plaid bank sync is on the roadmap as an option, never a requirement.
